Nikhilesh Mohanty (Nik) is the founder and CEO of Arctic Edge Consultants, advising clients on strategy, operations, and financial transformation across sectors including energy, infrastructure, private equity, and industrials. He brings a distinctive combination of top-tier consulting pedigree, hands-on operator experience, and technical depth in financial planning and business intelligence, and approaches each engagement with an owner-investor mindset focused on building lasting value.
Prior to founding Arctic Edge, Nik spent several years as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and KPMG in London, leading margin improvement and service-level transformation programs across Oil & Gas, Utilities, Automotive, Consumer Goods, and Construction Equipment. His engagements spanned Europe, India, and Australia, building extensive experience in manufacturing operations, maintenance strategy, and field service excellence.
He then moved to Össur, a multinational medical device company, as Director of Corporate Strategy and Director of Finance. He built the company's corporate FP&A function from the ground up over five years, led a major multi-year finance transformation, and supported commercial growth and operational improvement strategy development.
Nik began his career in manufacturing and engineering roles at Micron Technology, one of the world's largest semiconductor companies, at its fabrication facility near Washington, DC, grounding his later strategy and operations work in a first-hand understanding of production operations.
Today, Nik serves as a Strategic Advisor to Mar Advisors, a corporate finance boutique, and the Iceland Ocean Cluster, a world leader in the "100% Fish" movement driving zero-waste innovation in seafood.
He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, a Master's in Operations Management from Clemson University, and a Bachelor's in Production Engineering from the University of Mumbai, and is a certified change management professional.
